ShootEdit tv what’s it all about ?
Shootedit is a broadcast and corporate tv production company based in Newcastle, N.E.
Steve is a lighting cameraman with more than 25 years experience in broadcast television. He owns a full DVCam Sony 570wsp broadcast camera kit, for 1,2 or 3 man operation. In the U.K. the kit comes complete with lights, mics and a Ford Galaxy people carrier with purpose built camera cage. (This is usually configured as a Shoot/Edit truck with Avid Media Composer) When required, all the kit can be flight cased and sent anywhere in the world for overseas filming. A few seasons ago, he did shootedits for the BBC on 4 of the away legs of Newcastle United's european campaign. Which were then sent back via broadband using Quicklink software. Also a shootedit trip to Krakov in Poland was done for the BBC Newcastle newsroom, also recent filming trips to Bruges for a corporate client and Tenerife and Paris for ITV

He works For the BBC and ITV for much of the time but also works in the corporate sector, for instance he recently had 3 commercials going out on ITV that he shot and lit. He also shoots and edits corporate videos, working for both regional and London based production companies.
He has Produced, Directed, Shot and Edited a one hour sell through video of Artist, Charles Evans.
He has also made somewhere in excess of 50 strand items with Charles, for broadcast on Tyne Tees Television. These along with new items, have been compiled into sell through videos and DVD's, sold by TTTV under the Granada media banner. Compilations of these items have been shown on Discovery.
